This policy applies to every list delivered by localleads and is part of the Terms of service. Subscribing means agreeing to it.
What you may do. Use your lists for your own business-to-business prospecting: researching businesses, importing rows into your CRM, and prioritising who to contact. Contact listed businesses by personal email, postal mail, or live phone call, in compliance with the laws that apply to you (including CAN-SPAM for email and Do-Not-Call rules for calls). Use the pitch angles as drafting input for individually written outreach.
What you may not do: send automated or bulk SMS/text marketing to any number on a list. The phone numbers we deliver carry no consent of any kind. Under the US TCPA, marketing texts to mobile numbers require prior express written consent; violations carry statutory damages of $500–$1,500 per text. Do not do this. We will not help you do it, and we suspend accounts that try.
You also may not: place robocalls or pre-recorded voice calls to listed numbers; resell, redistribute, publish, or share lists or any derived database (each subscription licenses your organisation only); represent the data as sourced from, endorsed by, or affiliated with Google or any other platform; or use the data to harass, deceive, or discriminate, or for any consumer (non-business) marketing purpose.
What this data is, and isn't.Lists are assembled at scan time from public business-listing data supplied by third-party data vendors, together with details we read from a business's own public website, such as a contact email it publishes there. This is then classified and scored by us. The data is provided as-is with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Tiers and scores are our own derived signals, estimates, not facts about any business's intentions. localleads is not affiliated with Google. Nothing in this product is legal advice; you are responsible for the compliance of any outreach you send.
Removal requests. A listed business that wants its details removed from future lists can contact us and we will suppress the record going forward.
Enforcement. We may suspend or terminate the subscription of any account that violates this policy, and will cooperate with lawful requests from regulators regarding misuse.
